Munira & Hamzah is a family business from Andalusia selling our own designs of scarves, hand fans, leather goods and jewelry wholesale. We work only with trade customers: gift shops, museums, cultural bookshops and retailers across Europe and the United States.
It all began in 1990 with a small leather workshop in the Alpujarra, in the mountains of Granada, founded by our mother, Munira, who gives the brand its name. Today the second generation runs it: we have kept the leather and, out of love for craftsmanship, added other quality products — scarves, hand fans and jewelry — with Hamzah as our second brand.
The approach is still the workshop’s: pieces of our own design, inspired by Andalusian and Mediterranean culture, that a shop won’t find at just any wholesaler. Our collections range from the mosaics of Al-Andalus to famous painters, Art Nouveau, Ikat and Mediterranean motifs.
For years we had our own shop in Plaza Nueva, in Granada. Serving customers taught us what a shop owner needs. That is why we know both sides, the maker’s and the retailer’s, and we design our catalogue, minimums and service with the shop that will sell our pieces in mind.
